Soft, fluffy dinner rolls made with yogurt and yeast, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

Yeast

  • 1 Tablespoon Dry, Active Yeast
  • 1 Cup Warm Water
  • 2 teaspoons Sugar

Eggs

  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/4 Cup Plain Yogurt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 3 1/2 Cups Unbleached All-Purpose Flour

Instructions 

  • Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar; let sit until foamy (~5 min).
  • Whisk in eggs and yogurt into yeast mixture.
  • Add 2 cups flour and salt; stir until combined.
  • Gradually add remaining flour, knead until dough is soft and elastic.
  • Let dough rise until doubled (~45 min), shape into 12 rolls, and place on greased sheet.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F, let rolls rise 30-45 min, then bake 15-20 min until golden.

Notes

For softer rolls, brush with butter after baking.
