Ingredients

Dough

  • 3⅓ cups all-purpose flour
  • cups lukewarm water
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast ((or instant dry yeast))
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions 

  • Mix the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  • Add warm water and olive oil; knead until smooth.
  • Let the dough rise for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  • Divide the dough into 8 balls and roll into circles.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 475°F (245°C) for 8-10 minutes until puffed and golden.

Notes

For best results, roll the dough evenly and bake on a hot baking stone or sheet.
