Soft, fluffy dinner rolls perfect for any meal, made from simple ingredients and easy to prepare at home.
Ingredients
Dough

all-purpose flour

packet (2 ¼ tsp)
active dry yeast

granulated sugar

cup
milk

cup
unsalted butter (softened)

large egg

Instructions
Warm milk, add yeast and sugar, let sit 5-10 min until foamy.
Mix flour, salt, butter, and egg; add yeast mixture and knead 8-10 min until smooth.
Let dough rise in a greased bowl, covered, for 1 hour until doubled.
Divide dough into 12 balls, place in greased dish, let rise 30-45 min.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C), bake rolls 15-20 min until golden, brush with melted butter.
Notes
For softer rolls, brush with butter immediately after baking.
