Instructions
Mix warm water, honey, and yeast; let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
Add warm milk, oil, and salt to the yeast mixture.
Gradually add all-purpose flour and whole wheat flour, kneading until dough is smooth and elastic.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Shape dough into a loaf and place in a greased pan.
Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown. Cool before slicing.
Notes
For a softer crust, cover the bread with a damp towel during the first few minutes of baking.
