A rich and gooey skillet brownie with chunks of semi-sweet chocolate, perfect for sharing or indulging solo.
Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

unsweetened natural or Dutch-process cocoa powder

all-purpose flour (spooned & leveled)

Chocolate Chips

semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided

semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided

Instructions
In a saucepan, melt butter, oil, chocolate, and sugar over medium heat until smooth, then cool slightly.
Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease a 10-inch cast iron skillet.
Whisk eggs and vanilla into the cooled chocolate mixture, then fold in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and 1 cup chocolate chips.
Pour batter into the skillet, sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top, and bake for 30–36 minutes.
Cool for 5 minutes before serving with optional toppings.
Notes
For extra gooeyness, underbake slightly and serve warm.
