A delicious and easy turkey salad combining sweet cranberries and crunchy pecans, perfect for a quick lunch or light dinner.

Ingredients

Main

  • 2-1/2 cups cooked chopped turkey (white meat is best)
  • 1 stalk celery diced
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries or craisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 1/2 cup Miracle Whip or mayo (more if you like your salad extra creamy)
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1/3 cup finely diced red onion (optional)

Instructions 

  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and toss until well coated.
  • Serve on rolls, toasted bread, or with salad extras like lettuce and tomatoes.

Notes

For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of mayo.
