A flavorful and hearty dish combining seasoned ground beef, rice, and creamy queso for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients

lean ground beef

diced
onion

chicken broth

taco sauce or tomato sauce

taco seasoning

garlic powder

Velveeta Queso Blanco cheese

half & half
(for queso sauce)
Instructions
Add ground beef and onion to a skillet, season with salt and pepper, cook until meat is done. Reduce heat.
Add chicken broth, taco sauce, taco seasoning, garlic powder, and oregano. Bring to a boil.
Stir in rice, boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Prepare queso sauce by melting Velveeta with half & half until smooth, adding more half & half as needed.
Serve rice mixture drizzled with queso, garnished with cilantro if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, top with fresh cilantro or diced tomatoes.
