Ingredients

Oil

  • 1 Tablespoon Oil

Vegetables

  • 1-2 Bell Pepper Bell Pepper (Optional)
  • ½ Onion Onion (Optional)

Ground Meat

  • 1 Pound Ground Meat (Lean Ground Beef, Chicken, or Turkey)

Liquid

  • ¾ Cup Water
  • 1 Ounce Taco Seasoning Mix (Reduced Sodium)

Pasta

  • 8 Ounces Pasta (Cooked)

Salsa

  • 1 ½ Cups Salsa (Your Choice)

Cheese

  • ¾ Cup Cheese (Your Favorite Taco Cheese)

Instructions 

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat, then cook chopped vegetables until tender.
  • Add ground meat and cook until browned, then stir in water and taco seasoning.
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
  • Add cooked pasta, salsa, and cheese to the pan, then stir until cheese melts.
