A delicious and refreshing smoothie combining strawberries, banana, and yogurt for a healthy treat.

Ingredients

Fruits

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 piece ripe banana, peeled and sliced

Liquid

  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy, almond milk recommended)

Dairy & Sweeteners

  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Extras

  • a few ice cubes ice cubes (optional)

Optional toppings

  • as desired fresh strawberries, banana slices, granola, chia seeds

Instructions 

  • Combine milk, banana, yogurt (if using), sweetener, vanilla, and strawberries in a blender.
  • Add ice cubes if desired for a thicker texture.
  • Blend until smooth, about 30–60 seconds.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness or consistency as needed.
  • Pour into a glass, add toppings if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

For a creamier smoothie, use full-fat Greek yogurt or add a splash of juice.
