A creamy and cheesy squash casserole that's perfect as a comforting side dish or main course.

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8-inch dish.
Slice squash into 1/4-inch rounds. Cook onions and garlic in butter for 4-5 minutes.
Mix heavy cream, broth, and cornstarch; cook until thickened. Add Parmesan, season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Arrange squash slices in dish, pour sauce over, and top with mozzarella.
Bake for 25 minutes until tender and golden. Rest briefly before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg or fresh herbs.
