A cheesy, savory bread filled with spinach and artichokes, perfect for sharing at gatherings.

Ingredients

Bread

  • 1 piece 16-ounce round Italian or sourdough bread
  • 6 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • 4 cloves garlic (chopped, divided)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 10 ounces frozen spinach (use leaf or chopped, thaw first)
  • 8 ounces artichoke hearts (finely chopped, thaw first if frozen)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the bread with slits, then place on a sheet pan.
  • Melt 3 tablespoons of butter with 2 cloves garlic and parsley; pour over the bread.
  • Saute remaining butter with spinach and garlic; stir in artichokes, mayonnaise, Parmesan, and mozzarella.
  • Stuff the filling into the bread slits, cover with foil, and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake until golden, 5-10 minutes.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle with additional parsley before serving.
