A delicious appetizer featuring a crusty bread filled with a creamy spinach and artichoke mixture, perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup artichoke hearts (canned or frozen, drained)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves (chopped)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 large crusty Italian or French bread loaf

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix artichokes, spinach, cream cheese, mozzarella, garlic, and Italian seasoning.
  • Hollow out the bread without breaking the crust.
  • Fill the bread with the mixture and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

For a crispier crust, bake a few extra minutes until golden.
