Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh ricotta cheese (around 475g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup runny honey
  • 1 teaspoon spicy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed chili flakes
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons freshly chopped rosemary
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 each grated zest from half a lemon
  • 1 each juice from half a lemon
  • a dash each black pepper

Instructions 

  • In a bowl, combine ricotta, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  • Drizzle in olive oil and mix until smooth.
  • Add honey, spicy sauce, chili flakes, and rosemary; stir to combine.
  • Fold in chopped walnuts.
  • Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes for flavors to meld.

Notes

For an extra kick, adjust the amount of spicy sauce and chili flakes to your taste.
