These breakfast rolls are a delightful combination of savory sausage, fluffy eggs, and melted cheese, all wrapped in a golden crescent dough.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground breakfast sausage, cooked and drained
  • 10 large eggs, scrambled
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough sheet
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • chopped parsley or green onions

Instructions 

  • Cook sausage in a skillet until browned, then drain.
  • Scramble eggs in a separate pan, season, and set aside.
  • Unroll crescent dough, flatten, and layer with eggs, sausage, and cheese.
  • Roll dough into a log, slice into rounds, and place in a baking dish.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Top with cheese sauce and garnish before serving.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh from the oven, but reheats well.
