A rich and fudgy skillet brownie topped with a smooth chocolate ganache, perfect for a decadent treat.
Ingredients
Batter

unsalted butter

granulated sugar

eggs

teaspoon
vanilla extract
Dry ingredients

all-purpose flour

cup
unsweetened cocoa powder

Ganache

heavy cream

semi-sweet chocolate, chopped

unsalted butter

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Melt butter in skillet, then stir in sugar and eggs. Mix in vanilla.
Combine dry ingredients and fold into wet mixture. Add chocolate chips if desired. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Heat heavy cream until simmering. Remove from heat, add chopped chocolate, then stir in butter and vanilla to make ganache.
Cool ganache slightly. Once brownies are baked and cooled for 10-15 minutes, pour ganache over and spread evenly.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use high-quality chocolate for the ganache.
