A creamy, cheesy chicken pasta casserole that's perfect for a comforting family dinner with rich flavors and easy preparation.

Ingredients

Pasta

  • 8 oz pasta (choose your favorite shape; cook until just shy of al dente)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking chicken)
  • 1 lb chicken breast (cooked and diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella (for topping)
  • to taste fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Boil pasta until just shy of al dente, then drain.
  • Cook diced chicken in olive oil until golden and cooked through. Sauté garlic briefly.
  • Simmer heavy cream and chicken broth for 5 minutes, then stir in Parmesan, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  • Mix pasta, chicken, and sauce; transfer to baking dish. Top with mozzarella and bake 20-25 minutes until bubbly.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a squeeze of lemon before serving.
