A delicious and easy shrimp salad served in fresh buns, perfect for a quick lunch or light dinner.

Ingredients

Main

  • 500 g shrimp (clean and without shell)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 6 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill (or 1 tsp dried dill)
  • 1 tbsp green onion (only greens, finely chopped)
  • 1 celery stick celery stick (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 hot dog buns hot dog buns
  • additional Mayonnaise (for spreading)

Instructions 

  • Cook the shrimp in boiling water until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Drain and let cool.
  • In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, dill, green onion, celery, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Add cooked shrimp to the bowl and gently toss to coat evenly.
  • Slice the hot dog buns and spread mayonnaise inside each bun. Fill with the shrimp salad mixture.

Notes

For extra flavor, chill the shrimp salad before serving.
