Deliciously sautéed mushrooms infused with garlic and fresh parsley, perfect as a side dish or topping.

Ingredients

Mushrooms

  • 1 lb fresh cremini or button mushrooms
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  • Clean and slice mushrooms.
  • Melt butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  • Add mushrooms; cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Stir in parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a splash of lemon juice before serving.
