These rich and chewy Samoa-inspired truffles are a perfect quick treat, combining coconut, chocolate, and caramel flavors in every bite.

Ingredients

Coconut

  • 1 cup shredded coconut (sweetened or unsweetened)

Chocolate

  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)

Condensed Milk

  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

Caramel

  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Vanilla Extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Salt

  • Pinch salt

Optional Nuts

  • as desired chopped nuts (pecans or almonds)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and toast shredded coconut until golden.
  • Microwave chocolate chips with a pinch of salt until melted.
  • Mix toasted coconut, melted chocolate, condensed milk, caramel, and vanilla until combined.
  • Form mixture into 1-inch balls and place on parchment-lined sheet.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
