This rich and buttery pumpkin bread is perfect for fall, offering a moist texture and warm spices that will delight your taste buds.

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1.67 cup all purpose flour
  • 1.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie puree)
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 0.5 cup warm milk
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.25 tsp nutmeg
  • 0.25 tsp kosher salt (or 1/8 tsp of table salt)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a pan.
  • Mix dry ingredients in one bowl and cream butter and sugar in another.
  • Add eggs, pumpkin, and vanilla to the butter mixture, then combine with dry ingredients.
  • Stir in warm milk and pour batter into the pan.
  • Bake for 45-55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool for 15 minutes, then remove from the pan and enjoy!

Notes

Do not overbake; a few crumbs on a toothpick are okay.
