A quick and flavorful stir-fry combining tender beef with colorful bell peppers and onions in a savory sauce.
Ingredients

flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
Vegetables

red bell pepper

yellow bell pepper
yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced

medium onion
medium onion, thinly sliced
Sauce & Flavorings

vegetable oil

soy sauce

oyster sauce

cornstarch

water

rice vinegar

honey or brown sugar

garlic, minced

grated fresh ginger

sesame oil

red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, water, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set aside.
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook beef for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
Stir-fry bell peppers and onion in the same skillet for 4-5 minutes until tender but crisp.
Return beef to skillet, add sauce, and cook 2-3 minutes until thickened. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
Notes
Serve with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
