A quick and delicious dessert combining canned peaches and cake mix for an easy-to-make treat.

Ingredients

Peaches

  • 1 can sliced peaches, drained slightly (reserve some syrup)

Cake Mix

  • 1 package yellow cake mix

Butter

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Brown Sugar

  • ½ cup packed brown sugar

Cinnamon

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Vanilla Extract

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Nuts (Optional)

  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch dish.
  • Spread peaches in the dish, then sprinkle dry cake mix evenly on top.
  • Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla over the mixture. Add nuts if desired.
  • Pour melted butter evenly over everything.
  • Bake for 45-55 minutes until golden and bubbling. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

This dessert is best served warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
