This delicious overnight casserole combines creamy layers of blueberry and French toast, perfect for a brunch gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack softened cream cheese (8 ounces)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, split
  • 2 cups blueberries, divided
  • 2 loaves cubed french bread
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions 

  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and half the vanilla until smooth.
  • Layer half of the cubed bread in a greased casserole dish, followed by half of the blueberry mixture.
  • Repeat layers with remaining bread and blueberries.
  • In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and remaining vanilla.
  • Pour egg mixture over the casserole and refrigerate overnight.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes until golden.
