  • 1 piece turkey breast (about 4 pounds)
  • 1 piece zest of one orange
  • 0.5 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil (or olive oil)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup)
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 0.25 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup honey (or maple syrup)
  • 0.25 cup orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Prepare a roasting pan with foil and oil.
  • Mix orange zest, orange juice, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, oil, honey, salt, and pepper.
  • Rub the mixture over the turkey breast, place in pan, pour remaining sauce, cover with foil, and roast.
  • Roast for 1.5 hours, uncover last 30 minutes to brown. Ensure internal temp reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Slice and serve with Honey Orange Sauce and sides.

Notes

Let the turkey rest for 10 minutes before slicing for juicier results.
