1cupgranulated sugar
4largeeggs, room temperature
1tspbaking powder
1/2tspalmond extract, optional

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pan and line with parchment.
Boil oranges for 1.5 hours, drain, cool, then puree with peel.
Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy, then fold in orange puree, almond flour, baking powder, and almond extract.
Pour batter into pan, sprinkle sliced almonds on top, and bake for 45-50 minutes.
Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to rack. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
