Ingredients
Rice

long-grain white rice

Instructions
Rinse the rice under cold water until clear to remove excess starch.
Chop onion, mince garlic, and slice mushrooms.
Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté onion until translucent, then add garlic and mushrooms.
Add thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper, then mix in the rinsed rice.
Pour in broth, bring to a boil, then simmer covered for 15-18 minutes.
Fluff rice with a fork, garnish with parsley, and serve.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of white wine while cooking.
