Instructions
Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter.
Sauté diced onion for 2-3 minutes until softened.
Add chicken, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt; cook for 5 minutes until golden.
Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add broth and rice; bring to a boil, then simmer covered for 17-20 minutes until rice is tender.
Remove lid, stir in heavy cream and Parmesan until creamy. Garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
Ensure not to overcook the garlic to prevent burning and bitterness.
