A creamy, flavorful one-pan dish combining tender chicken, mushrooms, and pasta in a rich Alfredo sauce.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (sliced thinly)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 oz mushrooms (sliced cremini, button, or mixed)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta (or any other pasta)
  • to taste Salt and pepper (for seasoning)
  • optional Fresh parsley or basil (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet, season chicken with salt and pepper, then brown on both sides (4-5 mins per side). Remove and set aside.
  • Add sliced mushrooms to the same pan, cook 5-7 mins until golden, then add garlic and cook 1 min.
  • Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, bring to a simmer. Add pasta, cover, and cook 10-12 mins until al dente.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese, return chicken to pan, cook 2-3 mins until heated through. Garnish with herbs if desired.

Notes

Ensure pasta is fully submerged in liquid for even cooking.
