A quick and flavorful one-pan meal combining tender chicken, rice, and vegetables with a sweet and smoky BBQ glaze.

boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts

chicken broth

BBQ sauce

Instructions
Season chicken and sear in a skillet for 5 minutes per side until browned.
Mix BBQ sauce and honey; pour over chicken.
Add rice and chicken broth; stir and bring to a simmer.
Cover and cook on low for 20 minutes until rice is tender.
In the last 5 minutes, add vegetables on top to steam.
Let sit for 5 minutes, then fluff rice and serve.
