Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1.5 cups milk (or almond milk for dairy-free)
  • 1 large apple, diced
  • 2 units eggs
  • 0.25 cups maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.25 tsp salt
  • 0.25 cups chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  • Stir in oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt, then fold in diced apples and nuts (if using).
  • Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm or refrigerate for a quick breakfast.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, use almond milk instead of regular milk.
