A quick and flavorful one-pan dish featuring tender beef in a savory sauce, perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
Meat

Beef (Flank or Top Sirloin)

oil (avocado or olive)

corn starch

soy sauce (low sodium)
1/3
cup
water
1/3
cup
brown sugar (packed)

cloves
garlic (minced)

fresh ginger (minced)

green onions (sliced)
Instructions
Slice beef into 1/8 inch thick slices against the grain.
Mix soy sauce, water, and brown sugar in a bowl.
Coat beef with corn starch, then cook in hot oil in batches. Remove and set aside.
Sauté garlic and ginger in the same pan for about a minute.
Add sauce to the pan, simmer briefly, then return beef to coat and cook a few more minutes. Garnish with green onions.
Notes
Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
