This moist pumpkin bread is the perfect autumn treat, spiced with warm flavors and easy to make!

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 tsp ground cloves

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  • Whisk together dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
  • Mix wet ingredients in a large bowl until smooth.
  • Combine dry and wet ingredients, fold in nuts if using.
  • Pour batter into pan and bake for 55-65 minutes.
  • Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chocolate chips or spices of your choice!
