A delightful and easy-to-make appetizer featuring fresh cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil on skewers, drizzled with balsamic and olive oil.

Ingredients

Vegetables and Cheese

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes (ripe, firm)
  • 1 cup mozzarella balls (small bocconcini or ciliegine)
  • fresh basil leaves (preferably young and tender)
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (extra virgin)
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • skewers (small wooden or bamboo)

Instructions 

  • Rinse tomatoes and basil, drain mozzarella.
  • Thread tomato, basil, and mozzarella onto skewers.
  • Mix balsamic vinegar and olive oil, season with salt and pepper.
  • Arrange skewers on platter and drizzle with dressing. Serve immediately.
