Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan and line with parchment.
Mix dry ingredients and poppy seeds in a bowl. Whisk sugar and eggs until thick, then add milk, butter, lemon juice, zest, and vanilla.
Combine wet and dry mixtures until just combined. Pour into pan and bake for 45-55 minutes.
Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Mix powdered sugar with lemon juice to make glaze, then drizzle over cooled loaf.
