A comforting and easy-to-make dish perfect for using up leftover roast beef and vegetables in a hearty shepherd’s pie.

Ingredients

Mashed Potatoes

  • 3 cups mashed potatoes

Leftover Roast Beef

  • 3 cups leftover roast beef

Vegetables and Gravy

  • 0.5 cup peas
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 1.5 cups gravy

Cheddar Cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Dehydrated Garlic

  • 1 teaspoon dehydrated garlic (or garlic powder)

Dehydrated Onion

  • 2 teaspoons dehydrated onion (or onion powder)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cube beef and mix with peas, carrots, gravy, garlic, and onion.
  • Spread beef mixture in a baking dish.
  • Top with mashed potatoes and smooth out.
  • Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and bake for 25-30 mins.
