  • 4 pieces Chicken thighs (Juicy and flavorful; chicken breasts can be used as a substitute.)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (Adds richness; olive oil can be used for a lighter version.)
  • 1 pound Green beans (Fresh and crunchy; asparagus can be used as a substitute.)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (Fresh garlic preferred; garlic powder can be an alternative.)
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice (Fresh lemon juice yields the best flavor.)
  • 1 cup Chicken stock (Low-sodium stock recommended.)
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder (Enhances flavor.)
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika (Adjust according to taste.)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley (Optional; adds color and freshness.)

Instructions 

  • Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder.
  • Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.
  • Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken stock and lemon juice, then add green beans. Simmer for 8-10 minutes until green beans are tender and sauce slightly thickened.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute butter with olive oil and chicken thighs with chicken breasts.
