A hearty and easy-to-make dish combining ground beef, potatoes, and cheesy sauce, cooked effortlessly in the Instant Pot.
Ingredients

1lbground beef (or ground sausage)
4small potatoespotatoes (peeled and diced)
1/3cuponion (diced)
1smallbell pepper (diced)
3tbspbutter
2cupmilk (2% or whole)
3tbspflour
1tspgarlic salt
2cupcheese (cheddar, shredded)
Instructions
Set the Instant Pot to saute, cook ground beef, onion, bell pepper, and garlic salt until browned. Drain excess grease.
Add diced potatoes to the beef mixture and toss.
Melt butter in a pan, whisk in flour, then gradually add milk, stirring until thickened. Add cheese and stir until melted.
Combine the beef and potato mixture with the cheese sauce.
Pour water into the Instant Pot, place a trivet, and set a baking dish with the mixture on top. Cook on high pressure for 15 minutes, then quick release.
Lift out, serve, and enjoy. Sauce will thicken as it cools.
Notes
For a creamier texture, add a splash of cream or more cheese.
