This flavorful garlic bread is perfect as a side for pasta or any Italian meal, offering a crispy crust and aromatic herb-infused butter.

Ingredients

Bread

  • 1 large French loaf or Italian bread
  • 1 stick butter (softened)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Mix softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, basil, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Slice the bread and spread the garlic butter mixture evenly inside and on top.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
  • Bake for 15 minutes until golden and crispy.

Notes

Wrap the bread in foil if you prefer softer garlic bread.
