A refreshing and creamy iced vanilla latte perfect for a quick pick-me-up. Made with homemade vanilla syrup and your favorite milk, it's easy to customize.
Ingredients
Vanilla Syrup
1cupcane sugar
1cupwater
2tbspvanilla extract or vanilla bean, sliced in half lengthwise(see notes)
Espresso
2shotsespresso
Ice
as neededice
Milk
½-1cupmilk (oat milk recommended)
Vanilla Syrup
1-2tbspvanilla syrup
Garnish
optionalwhipped cream and rainbow sprinkles(coconut milk whipped cream used)
Instructions
Make vanilla syrup by boiling sugar and water until dissolved, then add vanilla extract or vanilla bean and simmer for a few minutes. Let cool.
Prepare espresso shots and let them cool slightly.
Fill a glass with ice, pour in vanilla syrup, then add espresso and milk.
Stir gently to combine, then top with whipped cream and sprinkles if desired.
Notes
Adjust vanilla syrup and milk to taste for a sweeter or creamier latte.
