A flavorful and easy-to-make chicken dish with honey and Dijon mustard sauce, perfect for a quick dinner.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 4-5 pieces chicken thighs
  • salt & pepper to taste salt & pepper (seasoning)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 stem thyme
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • salt & pepper to taste additional salt & pepper (for adjusting flavor)

Instructions 

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper, then sprinkle with flour.
  • In a skillet, sear chicken until golden, then add garlic and butter, cooking until fragrant. Add flour and cook briefly.
  • Pour in chicken broth, whisking to combine and thicken. Add mustard, honey, thyme, and salt; simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove chicken, whisk in heavy cream, adjust salt, then return chicken to sauce. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
