A quick and flavorful chicken dish with a tangy lemon-honey sauce, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 ounces each)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions 

  • Pat chicken dry, season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 5-6 mins per side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • Sauté garlic in skillet 30 seconds. Add lemon juice, honey, and broth; simmer until slightly thickened, 3-4 mins.
  • Stir in lemon zest and butter until glossy. Return chicken to skillet, coat with sauce, cook 2 mins.
  • Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve with rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
