Ingredients

Chicken Tenders

  • 2 pounds Chicken Tenders or Chicken Breasts (sliced into strips)
  • 1-2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 large Eggs (whisked)
  • To taste Salt
  • To taste Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • For frying Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 2-4 tablespoons Hot Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon Chili Flakes (optional)

Optional Garnishes

  • as desired Chopped green onions, sesame seeds, parsley

Instructions 

  • Coat chicken strips in seasoned flour and dip in beaten eggs.
  • Fry chicken until golden and cooked through, then drain excess oil.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter, then add hot sauce, honey, and chili flakes; stir well.
  • Toss fried chicken in the honey hot sauce mixture until evenly coated.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, or parsley before serving.

Notes

Adjust spice level with chili flakes and hot sauce to taste.
