A quick and flavorful dish featuring tender shrimp coated in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 pound raw shrimp (sizes 21-25 or 26-30, peeled, deveined, and thawed)
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 green onion minced (optional)

Instructions 

  • Thaw and dry the shrimp. Mix garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and honey to make marinade.
  • Marinate shrimp for at least 10 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Heat oil in a skillet, add shrimp, and pour remaining marinade over them. Cook 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  • Allow sauce to thicken slightly, then remove from heat. Garnish with green onions if desired.
  • Serve immediately with rice or noodles, coated in the sauce.

Notes

Ensure not to overcook the shrimp to keep them tender.
