Ingredients

Chicken

  • 4 pieces Boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs for more richness)
  • 1 cup tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons tablespoons Cooking oil (canola or vegetable oil)
  • 3 tablespoons tablespoons Butter
  • 1/4 cup cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoons tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tablespoon Apple cider vinegar
  • Garnish Sliced green onions (for garnish)

Instructions 

  • Mix flour and seasonings; coat chicken evenly.
  • Fry chicken in oil and butter until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add butter, honey, soy sauce, and vinegar; stir until thickened.
  • Return chicken to pan, toss in sauce to coat.
  • Garnish with green onions and serve.

Notes

Ensure chicken is cooked thoroughly and sauce is thickened before serving.
