Ingredients

Chicken

  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup plain yogurt (divided)

Herb Marinade

  • 0.5 cup plain yogurt (for sauce)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for sauce)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt (divided)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Herb Crust

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for crust)

Instructions 

  • Mix 1/2 cup yogurt, olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, paprika, black pepper, salt, and chopped parsley to make the marinade.
  • Pound chicken to 1/2-inch thickness, coat with marinade, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high. Remove chicken, press chopped parsley onto both sides for crust.
  • Grill 5-6 minutes per side until charred and internal temp reaches 165°F. Rest 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Prepare sauce by mixing remaining 1/2 cup yogurt with chopped parsley and a pinch of salt. Serve with sliced chicken and garnish.

Notes

Using yogurt helps keep the chicken moist and adds a delicious tang.
