A flavorful and easy-to-make chicken dish marinated in yogurt and spices, perfect for grilling or baking.

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 1.5–2 lbs boneless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp ground coriander
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp turmeric, chili flakes (optional) (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley or cilantro (optional) (optional)

Instructions 

  • Whisk yogurt, oil, garlic, lemon juice, and spices in a bowl.
  • Add chicken, coat well, cover, and refrigerate for 2–8 hours.
  • Bring chicken to room temperature, shake off excess marinade.
  • Grill or bake at 425°F (220°C) for 20–25 mins, or pan-sear until cooked through (165°F internal).
  • Let rest 5 minutes, then serve warm.

Notes

Marinate for at least 2 hours for best flavor.
