A quick and flavorful garlic bread made with Greek yogurt and simple pantry ingredients, perfect for a cozy snack or side dish.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or self-rising flour)
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (preferably full-fat)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder (omit if using self-rising flour)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced or roasted) (add more for extra flavor)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (for brushing)
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs (optional: oregano, parsley, or Italian blend)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or lightly grease it.
  • Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in Greek yogurt to form a soft dough.
  • Fold in minced garlic. Shape into a loaf, place on baking sheet, and score lightly.
  • Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with herbs. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden.
  • Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, add more garlic or herbs as desired.
