These Greek yogurt bagels are a delicious and protein-packed twist on a classic favorite, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or substitute with whole wheat flour)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup greek yogurt (thick consistency recommended)
  • 1 egg for egg wash

Optional Toppings

  • everything bagel seasoning, cinnamon, shredded cheese, garlic & herbs, chocolate chips (to taste)

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet.
  • Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • Stir in Greek yogurt until dough forms, then knead.
  • Shape dough into bagels and create holes in the center.
  • Brush with egg wash and add toppings.
  • Bake for 22-25 minutes until golden brown.

Notes

For a sweeter bagel, consider adding chocolate chips or cinnamon.
