Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
Brown the butter until nutty and amber, then cool for 5-10 minutes.
Mix cooled butter with sugars and vanilla, then add egg yolk and combine.
Fold in dry ingredients and chocolate, then form 2-3 cookies and top with extra chocolate.
Bake for 9-14 minutes until golden and puffy, then optionally sprinkle with sea salt and cool.
Notes
Use high-quality dark chocolate for best flavor.
