Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 3 cups gluten free all purpose flour (King Arthur's gluten free measure for measure flour recommended)
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 cups unsalted butter (2 sticks, room temperature)
  • 1 ¼ cups brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate Chips

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350º F and line a baking sheet with parchment or silicone mat.
  • Mix dry ingredients: flour, cornstarch, baking soda, salt, and 1 cup of chocolate chips.
  • Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat briefly.
  • Gradually add dry mixture, then fold in remaining chocolate chips. Form dough balls and press extra chips on outside.
  • Bake for 13-15 minutes until edges are golden. Cool for 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

For even baking, only bake one sheet at a time and allow cookies to cool before removing.
